Get to Know JasonDr. Jason Lynch is an innovative scholar-practitioner focused on issues impacting U.S. education. Broadly, he is interested in helping educational leaders in K-12 and higher education to create organizational environments that not only foster student growth, development, and success, but also allow staff and faculty to thrive and maintain their own wellbeing. More specifically, Dr. Lynch specializes in how traumatic stress impacts educational organization and stakeholders. His scholarship is grounded in his professional experience as a practitioner in the areas of housing and residence life, fraternity and sorority life, student organization advising, leadership development, student conduct, research and assessment, & statewide system-level operations.
As a native North Carolinian and first-generation college student, Jason received his bachelor's degree in biology and psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He completed his master's degree in higher education administration at North Carolina State University, and earned his doctorate in higher education from Old Dominion University. He welcomes the opportunity to work with educational organizations and stakeholders to enhance personal wellness for professional helpers so that they may be better equipped to serve students. |
